Results from the Academic and Staff Satisfaction Survey are in, with Davis campus employees rating 51 service lines they used in 2022 as “good” or “excellent,” out of the 64 service lines included in the survey.
The interactive results dashboard allows users to explore specific ratings for individual service lines and also compare scores based on types of respondent, including academics, staff, administrative units and academic departments.
“I want to offer thanks to all the academics and staff members who took the time to provide feedback about our campus services this year,” said Clare Shinnerl, vice chancellor for Finance, Operations and Administration.
“Your responses are a valuable tool to help guide our teams in improving campus processes and better serving our customers.”
–Vice Chancellor Clare Shinnerl
Approximately 23% of employees on the Davis campus responded to the survey, with more than 2,300 responses. Service lines evaluated were from the division of Finance, Operations and Administration; Information and Educational Technology; the Office of Research; the College of Engineering; and the Offices of the Chancellor and Provost.
One persistent bright spot in UC Davis results from the Satisfaction Survey are high levels of satisfaction with the individual employees who provide support, with positive responses to questions about knowledgeable staff, helpful staff and being accessible to customers.
